Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
We avoid travel to clients offices where possible and take full use of cloud based technology to communicate with our clients so that we can reduce the CO2 emission due to unnecessary travel.
We have purposely chosen to not have an office and expect our work force to work from home and only travel if it is essential. This reduces the emission due to travel. If we do need to meet, we use existing meeting rooms, where many people use the same facilities. We pre-book food requirements so that the food can be prepared in advance and avoid waste.
We instruct our work force to switch off IT equipment when not in use to reduce the unnecessary use of electricity. We employ an IT company who service IT our needs remotely again to avoid travelling to have IT repairs carried out.
When we do have to travel to try to use electric vehicles and 50% of our staff have electric cars.
We are committed to net zero carbon emissions and continue to work remotely and avoid travel. When bidding for our assignments we make it clear to our customers that we do not intend to travel to their offices and they should expect us to work remotely and communicate with us using cloud base technology.
We will not rent office space and therefore will not be using heating or lighting. This will also lead to reduction in travel as our policy is to work from home and to work remotely.
We will ask our staff to avoid the use of single use plastic and to use reusable vessels for water and beverages.
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard[1] and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting[2].
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard[3].
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors.
